Serbia-Russia: Vucic in Moscow to sign agreements on energy

President, 'we depend almost entirely on Russian gas'

(ANSA) - BELGRADE - Serbia's president Aleksandar Vucic will sign important agreements with Russia, especially in the energy sector, during a visit to Moscow scheduled for December 18-20.

''With President Vladimir Putin I will talk about many crucial issues, and the signing of several important agreements is expected'', Vucic told the Tass agency. ''You know - he added - that Serbia depends almost entirely on Russian gas, and every year our country increases its gas consumption by 300-400mn cubic metres. I hope we will complete the work on important energy between Russia and Serbia, and that we will sign them in the presence of President Putin''. According to Serbia's president, agreements with Moscow will concern arms supply, agriculture, technological innovation.
