Serbian PM denies any issues from her lesbianism
'Homophobes a minority in country', she tells CNN
20 July, 14:49 (ANSA) - BELGRADE - Serbia's new, openly gay prime minister
Ana Brnabic claims she has never had any problems in Serbia
stemming from her sexual orientation.
She is both the first woman to ever lead the government in
the country as well as the first openly gay one.
She told the US broadcaster that she would like to believe
that Serbia is not a conservative, homophobic or xenophobic
nation, despite the fact that many depict it as such.
She added that those feeling that homosexuality is a negative
thing are a minority in the country. (ANSA).
