(ANSA) - TRIESTE - The conditions for credible elections in Macedonia are still not in place according to the evaluations made by the EU and the USA, Mia agency reported. The early elections, scheduled for 24 April, are envisioned by the Przino agreement, signed last year in July between the EU and the major political parties in Macedonia in order to overcome the political crisis. The spokesperson of the European Commission, Maja Kocijancic, called upon the local political leaders to continue making efforts to ensure the conditions for a credible electoral process in which all citizens and parties can participate freely as soon as possible (ANSA).
