Gazprom: 2.55 bn dollar gas bill to Ukraine
Clause: minimum supply, payment within 10 days

(ANSA) - MOSCOW - Gazprom has presented a $ 2.55 bn gas 'bill' to Ukraine according to the 'take or pay' clause, providing a minimum annual gas supply, that is over 10 bn cubic metres, payable in the third quarter of the year. Gazprom has sent the bill to its Ukrainian counterpart Naftogaz.
The company said the payment is expected ''within 10 days''.
''Ukraine - Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said - decided not to buy Russian gas in the third quarter, but no agreement was reached to cancel the clause 'take or pay' during that period''. (ANSA).
