Antonio Tajani, Vice President of
the Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International
Cooperation, and Gilberto Pichetto, Minister of the Environment
and Energy Security, will open the event tomorrow at Villa
Madama on the Southern Hydrogen Corridor (South H2), an
infrastructure project that will transport renewable hydrogen
over 3,300 kilometres from North Africa through Italy, Austria,
and Germany to European markets. The initiative has strategic
energy and political value, and it is a valuable asset for
achieving the goals of the national energy transition as well as
diversifying the EU's supply lines.
