(ANSA) - TRIESTE, JUN 28 - 'Pasolini100,' a dance-theater creation produced and staged by Collettivo Terzo Teatro of Gorizia, featuring the Friulian poet's world through intensely evocative scenes, is about to arrive in Udine, Pordenone, and Nova Gorica.

The work is named after the namesake festival, taking place throughout the summer and until the end of 2022, and offering a broad cross-section of the artistic activity of the Friulian intellectual, in several locations across the FVG region on the centenary of his birth.

The show, which debuts in Udine tomorrow at the Loggia del Lionello in "Udinestate22" - with repeats in Pordenone on Friday, July 1, and Sunday, July 3, in Nova Gorica (Kromberk Castle) - was coordinated by the artistic director Elisabetta Ceron and relies on an international pool of choreographers formed by Nastja Bremec (Slovenia), Michal Rynia (Poland), and Salvatore Gagliardi (Italy), with the narrating voice of actor Michele Costabile. Italian actor and director Massimo Somaglino chose and adapted the texts taken from Pasolini's famous novels "Ragazzi di vita" and "Una vita violenta." The work also involves 26 young emerging dancers from Fvg and Slovenia. FVG Regione Fvg, and the municipalities of Udine, Pordenone and Nova Gorica support the artistic production.
