(ANSA) - SAN DANIELE (UDINE), JULY 1 - ''Success beyond the
most optimistic expectations, a great achievement in terms of
brand image, attendance, quality of the proposal''. This is what
the regional manager of the Expo project Agostino Maio stated,
drawing up a balance sheet of '' drawing a balance sheet of the
first edition od ''Aria di Friuli Venezia Giulia''.
The food and wine festival has recorded an increase by 21% in
consumption, with over 2.2 million slices of ham sold in the 12
stands managed by the San Daniele Ham Consortium and in the 11
local companies involved.
Over 20,000 people enjoyed Lodovica Comello, Vinicio
Capossela, Bob Dylan and Caparezza in concert; 4,500 people
attended the cultural events.
Ten thousand people took part in a guided tour of the ham
producing companies, and more than a thousand attended the
tasting sessions. (ANSA).
