Expo: Polish pavilion at the Vittoriano

In Rome towards Expo, Poland focuses on beauty and technology

(ANSA) - ROME - Poland shows itself in an exhibition hosted - from tonight - by the Vittoriano in Rome. This is only a taste of what you may see at the Polish Pavilion at Expo Milan, which will open in a few days.

This exhibition "invites you to tell a story and tell about yourself, travel and live your personal experience in our country, at the heart of Europe, which is a blend of artistic beauty and nature. A country where everything is possible, because what constituted Poland in the past and nowadays is something unique and challenging''. This is what the Polish Tourist Organization wrote in order to present the exhibition, organized within the project "In Rome towards Expo. Poland counts on beauty and technology.

Another section of the exhibition will focus on innovation and new technologies, offering visitors a multimedia interactive area, which will host the products of four Polish leading companies with regard to innovation and technological development: Digital Core, which will present DQ80251, the world's fastest industrial processor; Game Technologies with DICE +, an interactive cube; Goodram with its memory cards and USB storage devices and the Figaro, which will offer a new system to build a wireless intelligence.

In Poland, the organizers pointed out, the presence of foreign investors is growing. In recent years, both foreign and local companies have invested heavily in the ICT sector, environmental technology and industrial innovation. Many Polish companies have won major international awards thanks to their innovative products.

The exhibition, which will remain open until May 3, is organized by the Polish Institute in Rome, in collaboration and with the support of the Embassy of Poland in Rome, the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and the Polish Tourist Organization in Rome.(ANSA).
