(ANSA) - VARSAW, 18 GIU - US President Donald Trump, on the
occasion of the meeting with the Polish head of state Andrzej
Duda scheduled for June 24 in Washington, might want to sell a
nuclear power plant to Poland," the Polish private broadcaster
Rmf FM announced, underlining that Duda's visit will take place
a few days ahead of the presidential elections, scheduled for
June 28. In these elections, the current Polish President will
run for another 5-year term. Poland does not currently have a
nuclear power plant.
According to local media, the relocation from Germany to Poland
of a part of the US troops would be among the other topics in
the meeting with Trump. Before leaving for Washington, the
Polish President announced that he would consult with Nato
secretary-general Jens Stoltenberg. (ANSA).
