Construction: in Romania highest increase in production
Strong raise also in Hungary, Bulgaria

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 19 NOV - Romania registered the highest
increase year-on-year in production in the construction sector
in September 2019.
According to Eurostat data released today, in September 2019, compared with September 2018, the highest increases in production in construction were observed in Romania (+28.9%), Hungary (+17.8%) and Bulgaria (+6.9%). In a monthly comparison, between September and August 2019, the highest increases in production in construction were recorded in Slovakia (+6.3%) and Hungary (+5.2%).
In September 2019 compared with August 2019, seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector increased by 0.7% in the euro area and by 0.3% in the EU, while in an annual comparison production in construction decreased by 0.7% in the euro area and increased by 0.3% in the European Union, Eurostat said.
