Frontex: three times more migrants on Balkan Route
40,675 illegal crossings detected between January and May

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 13 - The Western Balkan route saw
40,675 irregular crossings of migrants and refugees, or half of
the total number recorded at EU's borders, between January and
May, Frontex said today. "This is nearly three times the figure
from the same period of last year," a new update from Frontex
reads. (ANSA).
