EU Commission, Romania's candidate is urgently needed
Von der Leyen, candidates of France and Hungary have skills

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 29 - "I can confirm that the
elected president Ursula von der Leyen had talks with the two
commissioners proposed by France and Hungary yesterday and
confirmed that both candidates have the necessary skills to play
their role," European Commission spokeswoman Mina Andreeva said,
underlining that she had already informed the Council.
At the same time, Andreeva reported that von der Leyen had already asked Romania to present another commissioner candidate, pointing out that the issue was urgent. The spokeswoman then underlined that in recent days von der Leyen said that the portfolio of the French Thierry Breton would not change. (ANSA).
