Coronavirus: 80393 cases in New Europe area, 757 deaths

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MARCH 31 - A total of 80393 confirmed cases of coronavirus (+6722 day-on-day), 57298 in Germany only, and 757 deaths (+125) were registered in countries in Central- and Eastern Europe, Germany, Austria and Greece as March 30, according to official data of national authorities collected by the World Health Organization (WHO). Most of cases of COVID-19 in the area were registered in Germany (57298, +4751 in the last 24 hours, 455 deaths), followed by Austria (8813, +522, 86 deaths), Czech Republic (2829, +166), Poland (1862, +224), Romania (1760, +308), Greece (1156, +95), Serbia (741, +82), Slovenia (730, +39), Croatia (713, +56), Estonia (679, +39), Lithuania (484, +90), Ukraine (480, +62), Hungary (447, +38), Latvia (376, +71), Bulgaria (346, +15), Slovakia (336, +41), Bosnia-Herzegovina (325, +56), Moldova (263, +32), North Macedonia (259, +18), Albania (223, +11), Belarus (94) Kosovo (94, +3), Montenegro (85, +3). In Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania and in the Western Balkans (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Albania) 5276 confirmed cases and 102 deaths were registered until March 30. Austria has registered 990 cases of COVID-19 per million inhabitants, followed by Germany (689), Estonia (511), Slovenia (353) and Czechia (265). Austria has also registered in the region the highest number of deaths per one million population (9,66), followed by Germany (5,47) and Slovenia (5,32). (ANSA).
