Kosovo: coalition government, between the two major parties
Kurti (Self-determination), alliance with LDK
11 October, 10:09Kurti said that, according to the constitution, there would be a minister of the Serb minority in the government, whose name would be decided after consultations with all political forces of the Serbian community. Two days ago he said he was against a minister from the Srpska Lista, the largest party in the Serbian community, closely linked to the Belgrade government, which won in Sunday's elections, gaining all ten parliamentary seats of the Serbian minority. Albin Kurti announced that the new government would have fewer ministries compared to the outgoing one, and as for the dialogue with Belgrade, he said he would be personally responsible for it, instead of President Hashim Thaci. Kurti accused the President of endorsing the idea of an exchange of territories along with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. "I will lead the dialogue, the president will be the president," Kurti said. Vjosa Osmani, the LDK candidate for PM, took part in the meeting between 'Self-Determination' and LDK.
