Snaidero: sells activities and brands in Germany

CEO Manelli, we will focus on our made in Italy kitchen

13 April, 13:04
(ANSA) - MILAN, 13 APR - Rino Snaidero, an Italian company that has been producing tailor-made kitchens for 70 years, has sold its activities and brands Rational, Regina, and Mahlzeit by Rational to the international group Bravat, based in Linden in Germany, through an asset deal. For the next three years, the agreement provides that the production of Rational kitchens for the German market will continue in the Majano plant (Udine), where the Italian company is based.

Snaidero considered that its presence in the German market, through the subsidiary Rational, was no longer strategic due to the useless and inefficient overlaps in both retail and contract distribution at the European and global level.

The sale also represents a solid and definitive sign of discontinuity concerning past management and allows the growth of the other companies and historical group brands.

Massimo Manelli, CEO of Snaidero, underlined that "Snaidero kitchens are the symbol of Italian industry globally. They are excellent examples of Made in Italy products with their roots in craftsmanship and an all-Italian passion for design and absolute quality. The transaction we have completed with the Bravat group - he added - will allow us to focus on the development of the Snaidero brand globally and the Arthur Bonnet and Comera brands in the French market."
