According to ACEA, the EU car
market expanded significantly in October 2023, with new
registrations increasing by 14.6% to 855,484 units. New car
registrations increased by 16.7% in the first ten months of
2023, totaling nearly nine million units. Except for Hungary,
all markets grew during this ten-month period. Notably, the four
largest markets contributed to this positive trend: Italy
(+20.4%), Spain (+18.5%), France (+16.5%), and Germany (+13.5%).
EU registrations of battery-electric vehicles increased
significantly in October 2023, increasing by 36.3% to 121,808
units.
