The Italian Foreign Minister,
Antonio Tajani, met with the Governor of Tyrol, Anton Mattle, to
discuss cooperation between Italy and Austria. The minister
underlined the importance of strengthening collaboration between
the two countries, also at a regional level.
Tajani expressed his intention to work together to enhance
the coexistence model of Alto Adige, which is based on respect
for autonomy standards. This model will also be carried forward
in discussions at the UN to promote peaceful coexistence and
respect for cultural diversity. The meeting between Tajani and
Mattle represents an important step in cooperation between Italy
and Austria.
