waters and food products in supermarkets with injections of
cyanide and rodenticide if he did not obtain payment of a
ransom, demanded in cryptocurrency. For this reason, the Postal
Police arrested a 47-year-old man from the province of Trieste
at the request of the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office. The
alleged extortion attempts against supermarkets, with the threat
of poisoning water and food, enacted by a 47-year-old man from
Trieste, were about 200 and also made against companies in
Germany, France, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland. The news
