Antonio Tajani on Saturday congratulated new Conservative leader
Kemi Badenoch after she won its leadership contest to become the
first black woman to head a major British political party.
"Congratulations to Kemi Badenoch, who has been elected the new
leader of the Conservatives," Tajani, the leader of the
centre-right Forza Italia (FI) party, said in a post on X.
"A black woman is bidding to lead the United Kingdom. Good
example of integration".
