(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 1 - Premier Giorgia Meloni on Wednesday
reiterated that the State would not be intimidated after a wave
of violence related to the case of jailed anarchist leader
Alfredo Cospito continued with an attack on a TV news crew.
The RAI crew were attacked outside Milan's Opera prison, where
Cospito is continuing a hunger strike that has lasted over 100
days to protest against the tough 41 bis jail regime he is being
held under.
"We won't retreat when faced with intimidation and threats,"
Meloni said via Twitter, expressing solidarity for the Tg2 news
crew and thanking the police for intervening. (ANSA).
