Silvia Romano, the Italian
aid worker kidnapped in Kenya, is still in the forest near the
River Tanta, informed sources told ANSA Thursday.
The kidnappers have been "surrounded" and it "appears
difficult" that they can advance further towards Somalia, where
they were reportedly heading earlier, the sources said.
It was earlier reported that Romano, 23, from Milan, was
being forced to wear a niqab.
