Vatican Bank IOR said Saturday that it
does not receive or invest any money from Moscow after
accusations made Friday Mykhailo Podolyak, chief advisor to
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during an interview
granted to a Ukrainian media outlet.
"The IOR (Institute for Religious Works) neither receives nor
invests money from Russia," the bank said in a statement.
"The IOR strongly rejects the allegations made by the advisor,
according to which the IOR is investing Russian money," it said.
"The statements made to the contrary in the press are based on
nothing and must, therefore, be considered as such," the Vatican
financial institution added.
