A new four-part Netflix series on
Pope Francis, Stories of a Generation with Pope Francis, was
presented at the Rome Film Festival Thursday.
The series, inspired by the pontiff's book Sharing the Wisdom of
Time, comprises 18 stories from five continents shot by young
film makers - but also interviews with veterans like Martin
Scorsese who voiced his admiration for the pope and admitted
that he "was obsessed by films to the point of neglecting the
growth of my daughters".
The series also highlights a recurrent phrase of the pope's,
that love is being close to people, "giving one's hand".
Asked if he had ever danced the tango in his native Argentina,
Francis replies with a smile: "Yes, yes".
