Italy's Fabrizio Cornegliani on
Wednesday won a gold medal in the Para cycling H1 road race in
Paris.
The 55-year-old closed in 34:50.45 the race on the circuit of
Clichy-sous-bois, leaving behind Belgium's Maxime Hordies,
silver in 35:11.13 and South Africa's Nicolas Pieter du Preez,
bronze in 36:07.05
Cornegliani, who is taking part in the Games for the second
time, already conquered a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo
Paralympics.
