Italy's Mattia Furlani has won a
bronze medal in the long jump at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
It was Italy's first medal in athletics at this edition of the
Summer Games.
The 19-year-old jumped 8.34m on Tuesday night.
Greece's Miltiadis Tentoglu won gold and Jamaica's Wayne Pinnock
silver.
"It was incredible", Furlani commented after clinching bronze -
"it was the greatest emotion of my life.
