Italy coach Roberto Mancini said on
Sunday his men needed to be totally focused in their second Euro
2024 qualifier against Malta as they had "everything to lose".
"We need to have maximum concentration so as to not take any
risks," said Manicini in an exclusive interview to Italian
football federation (Figc) social channels before the match in
the Maltese capital La Valletta.
Italy lost 1-2 to England in its first Group C qualifier at the
Diego Armando Maradona stadium in Naples on Thursday.
"There were many good things (against England) and some
mistakes," said Mancini.
"If we manage to do (today) what we did in the first 15 minutes
and throughout the second half, I think we will be very
satisfied," he added.
The coach also confirmed he would be making changes to the
line-up, but without saying what they would be.
