(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 6 - Italy's Federica Brignone said Monday
that winning her first world championship gold medal in the
combined was "the top".
"Starting the World Championships like this is the best. Now
they will no longer tell me 'your trophy cabinet is missing a
gold medal', but above all I am very satisfied with my
performance. That's also why I was moved and it doesn't happen
often," said the 32-year-old from Milan to Rai state
broadcaster.
"In the other editions I was never at my best, but now I feel
100%.
"I was charged up and I managed to do what I hoped.
"Today I promised myself to bring out the slalom skier in me and
I succeeded". (ANSA).
