Italy coach Roberto Mancini sang the
praises of Vincenzo Grifo after the Freiburg winger's double
helped Italy to come from behind to beat Albania 3-1 in a
friendly in Tirana on Wednesday.
Napoli's Giovanni Di Lorenzo was also on target as the Azzurri,
who failed to qualify for the World Cup, notched their third
consecutive win after victories over England and Hungary in
September booked them a ticket for next year's Nations League
Finals.
"He's an exceptional lad," Mancini said of the German-born
player.
"He's the Italian to have scored most goals in the Bundesliga.
"He's got quality and today he scored two great goals"
The Azzurri face Austria in another friendly in Vienna on
Sunday.
