Juventus's close-season signing from
PSG and veteran Argentina winger Angel di Maria will miss the
Turin giants' next two games with a hamstring injury sustained
in Sunday's 3-0 home win over Sassuolo, Juve said Tuesday.
Di Maria, 34, will have to skip next Monday's game with
Sampdoria and an August 27 clash with AS Roma, they said.
El Fideo had a stunning debut at the Allianz Arena and scored
one of Juve's goals.
The Bianconeri said his condition will be re-assessed in 10
days.
They said an X-ray had found "a low grade lesion of the long
abductor of the left thigh" of the former Benfica, Real Madrid
and Man Utd winger.
Di Maria has 122 Argentina caps since 2008, and 25 goals for his
country.
