Jannik Sinner lost 6-3 6-4 6-2 to
Greek number four seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarter-finals
of the Australian Open on Wednesday.
The defeat ended the 20-year-old's bid to reach his first grand
slam semi and dashed Italian hopes of having two players to
cheer on in the last four.
Matteo Berrettini is set to take on Rafa Nadal after becoming
the first Italian man to get into the semi-finals of the
Australian Open by beating France's Gael Monfils.
