Professional footballers'
association head Damiano Tommasi would make an "excellent" head
of the Italian Soccer Federation (FIGC), Inter coach Luciano
Spalletti said Friday.
Former Roma manager Spalletti said "I know well the
qualities" of ex-Roma player Tommasi.
"I think he should be the federation president".
Carlo Tavecchio quit as FIGC chief after Italy failed to
qualify for the World Cup in a play-off with Sweden last month.
