AC Milan has agreed terms for
Vincenzo Montella to take over as coach on a two-year contract,
Milan said Tuesday after owner Silvio Berlusconi OK'd the deal
at San Raffaele Hospital where he is recovering from heart
surgery. Montella will be unveiled as coach either Wednesday or
Thursday after Milan gets a deal with Montella's current club,
Sampdoria, about rescinding his contract that runs till 2018 for
about one million euros, sources said. The former AS Roma
striker and ex-Fiorentina manager takes over from caretaker
coach Cristian Brocchi, who replaced Sinisa Mihajlovic in April.
