The run-off turnout in local
elections around Italy Sunday and Monday was down at 49.64% from
58.39% in the first round, according to definitive results.
The centre right were edging it in all but two of seven
provincial capital while the centre left was ahead in one,
Vicenza, and an independent in another, Terni.
The centre left was slightly behind in Pisa, Siena, Massa,
Ancona and Brindisi.
