(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 29 - The International Criminal Court in
The Hague should deal with alleged war crimes in Ukraine and not
a new special tribunal, Italian Justice Minister Carlo Nordio
said on the sidelines of the G7 justice ministers' meeting in
Berlin Tuesday.
"It is a point that remains to be clarified," he said.
"Some would like to establish a special court for crimes in
Ukraine, in reality the international criminal court already
exists, so it would probably be better to use this already
existing structure that has an established jurisprudence also
for crimes that have been committed there". (ANSA).
