More EU solidarity and unity is
needed on energy amid spiraling prices due to the Ukraine war,
President Sergio Mattarella told his Polish counterpart Andrzej
Duda at the presidential Quirinale Palace Tuesday, according to
the president's office.
The two men discussed confirming clear support for Ukraine
against Russia, recognizing Poland's work in taking in Ukrainian
refugees, and the need for greater European solidarity and
unity, starting with the energy issue which risks causing
serious consequences for citizens and businesses, the office
said.
