President Sergio Mattarella on
Tuesday promulgated a law giving 18-year-olds the vote for the
Senate, down from 24 years old.
The Constitutional reform regards almost four million Italians
aged 18 to 24.
The reform will come into force at the next general election,
taking place no later than 2023.
It will make the legal voting age the same for the Lower House
