The government's budget KO from
the European Commission and financial markets shows that it is
"no longer able to carry on," centre-right opposition Forza
Italia (FI) leader Silvio Berlusconi said Wednesday.
"It's not so much the opinion of Europe in itself that
concerns us, it is the judgement of investors and savers, who
have already come out in a severe way against the yellow-green
government's economic policy", he said.
"All this convinces me ever more of the fact that this
majority is not able to go forward and govern the country...the
power deal between the League and the 5-Star Movement is now
deeply frayed".
He added: "We will soon give the country a centre-right
government"
