The Italian Ambassador to Switzerland, Gian Lorenzo Cornado, was received today in the Federal Parliament by the President of the Council of States (Upper Chamber), Andrea Caroni.
In the course of the cordial talks," says a statement issued by the embassy in Bern, "Ambassador Cornado and President Caroni discussed the main issues of bilateral interest, including cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries, cross-border dialogue, relations between Switzerland and the European Union, and the current international situation.
