The Sardinia regional administrative
court on Thursday suspended an order signed by Governor
Christian Solinas making it obligatory for everyone arriving on
the island to have a COVID-19 test.
The court upheld a petition from central government for the
order to be suspended pending a definitive decision.
The court will examine the case on October 7.
However, the obligation to wear facemasks in enclosed public
spaces and open-air areas where there is a risk of large groups
of people forming remains.
