Some 7.303 million Italians will
be travelling over the November 1 long weekend, hotel group
Federalberghi said Friday.
This will be slightly higher than last year, it said.
Each traveller will spend an average 326 euros on transport,
food, accommodation and leisure activities, the association
said.
The overall turnover will be 2.38 billion euros.
Some 88% will stay in Italy with art cities the top
destination (28%), closely followed by mountains (27.6%) and the
seaside (17.1%).
Some will also go to the lakes (4.5%) and spas (42%).
