Italian rockers Maneskin will hit the
red carpet in Cannes Wednesday for the premiere of the highly
anticipated Baz Lurhmann movie on Elvis and his manager Colonel
Tom Parker, for which they perform the song If I Can Dream.
The Roman quartet, who have conquered America since winning
Eurovision last year and who appeared for the second time on the
Jimmy Fallon Show two nights ago, went to Memphis to soak up
some of the King's vibes before arranging and singing the track.
Vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist
Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio will appear on the red
carpet along with the film's leads, Austin Butler and Tom Hanks.
There will be a huge rock party Wednesday night, Cannes watchers
have said.
