Train traffic has been severely slowed
down in the Rome railway junction after circulation was
suspended early on Wednesday due to a fault in the supply line
at the stations of Roma Termini and Roma Tiburtina.
The cause of the fault is currently being ascertained by
technicians who are working to solve the problem, railway
sources said.
Repercussions are being felt along the backbone between Milan
and Naples and the routes from Turin, with rescheduling of
services, delays of up to 160 minutes, and some cancellations,
the sources said.
