A 45-year-old serial Roman pickpocket
who allegedly committed 150 crimes in the last 20 years and has
always been let off because she was pregnant when committing
them has finally been convicted due to a change in the law
introduced by the hard right League party.
The woman, who has not been named, is due to serve 30 years in
jail for picking pockets in Rome, Milan and Brescia, sources
said.
