An unnamed young woman had a dip in
the Trevi Fountain Saturday night and then scuffled with police
after they pulled her out of the iconic Roman monument.
The incident was filmed by tourists and ended up on Instagram
and on the Telegram profile of Welcome to Favelas.
A traffic policeman invited her to get out of the water and then
had to go in and retrieve her after she refused to come out,
receiving a slap in the face for his trouble.
Hauled out of the fountain, she continued to struggle and kicked
a woman officer causing her to fall t the ground.
She was then taken away.
