Moody's Investors Service on
Wednesday revised upwards to 0.8% its estimate for Italy's GDP
growth in 2023.
This compares to the 0.3% growth forecast issued at the end of
February.
"We have modestly raised our forecasts for Italy and France in
response to falling energy prices and a better start to the
year," said Moody's.
The rating energy instead lowered its estimates for Italian GDP
growth in 2024 from 0.6% to 0.4%.
