(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 8 - Italian firefighters working in Turkey
after Monday's earthquakes that killed thousands of people there
and in Syria have located two people man alive under the rubble
of collapsed buildings in the city of Antakya.
The fire brigade said via Twitter that its USAR unit had found a
young man in the rubble and the operation to pull him out has
gotten underway.
It said the operation was highly complex due to the instability
of the rubble.
USAR Team Leader Cristiana Lupini then told ANSA that the
Italian firefighters has also located a young woman in the
rubble of another building nearby. (ANSA).
