Italy registered 180,517 new COVID-19
cases in the October 26 -November 1 period, a drop of 23.5% on
the 236,023 recorded the previous week, the GIMBE medical
foundation said in its weekly coronavirus monitoring report on
Thursday.
Hospitalizations were down by 6.3% and deaths by 4.1%, while on
the other hand intensive care admissions were stable, Gimbe
said.
The new cases are 180,517 against 236,023, the deaths 536
against 559.
The currently positive also decreased (441,425 against 499,999),
as did people in home isolation (434,535 against 492,661), and
hospitalizations with symptoms (6,658 against 7,106).
Intensive care remains stable (232 against 232).
