Premier Giorgia Meloni and Egyptian
President Abdel Fattah al Sisi discussed gas and energy in their
bilateral talks on the sidelines of the CoP27 summit in Egypt
Monday, Sisi's spokesman said.
"They also discussed joint cooperation in the energy security
area, considered one of the most important paths for
collaboration between the two sides in the last few years, in
particular thanks to a partnership with the Eni company in the
natural-gas field, with the possibility of setting up an
electrical connection with Italy," said Ambassador Bassam Radi
on his Facebook page.
