There have been 29,040 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 85 more victims of
the virus, the health ministry said Friday in its last daily
bulletin on the pandemic.
That compares with 31,760 new cases and 94 more victims
Thursday.
Some 182,614 more tests have been done, compared to 205,738
Thursday.
The positivity rate is up from 15.43% to 15.90%.
Intensive care cases are up six to 228 and hospital admissions
down 57 to 6.824.
The currently positive are 475,906.
The recovered and discharged are 22,849,293.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 23,504,224,
and the death toll 179,025.
