There have been 48,714 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 120 more victims
with the virus, the health ministry said Tuesday.
That compares to 11,606 new cases and 39 more victims Monday.
Some 297,268 more tests have been done, compared to 80,319
Monday.
The positivity rate is up from 14.44% to 16.38%.
Intensive care cases rose six to 232 and hospital admissions
fell 18 to 7,106.
The currently positive are 499,999.
The recovered and discharged are 22,729,641.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 23,408,393,
and the death toll 178,753.
